15 Spring ducks

Greetings!

April has been a busy month for Dead Duck, seeing DoP Beard joining forces with operator Chris Murray of MangaDuck and editor Caroline Mayne of Sleepless Studios to produce the absolutely stunning promo video for his band Even Flowers Kill’s track “Ruth Has Information That Will Destroy You” from their debut ep “Smile For The Camera” out on Copro Records and available to pre-order now.

After the glorious results that the team got out of the Canon 5d MKII on the promo, High Definition Magazine were quick to take notice and Beard was contacted to feature in the latest edition of the mag. By this time,  Sarah had picked up Writer/Director Jess Brownrigg’s latest script, “Equations,” a psychedelic mockumentary about a Father and Son living with the condition of Synesthesia, (A condition in which normally separate senses are not separate. Sight may mingle with sound, taste with touch, etc. ) and knew that the 5d would be the perfect way to bring the subject to life.

Production was completed on April 26th and we’re waiting with baited breath to see the finished results. Check back for more about the shoot and progress reports on the cut.
